What is repeated?
David use this type of praise and thanksgiving to celebrate God’s mercy and wonderful acts for Israel. Christians, today and in the New Testament, or under the new covenant. All of the Christ followers are considered priest of God (1 Peter 2:5,9; Revelations 20:6). We are authorized and responsible to offer the spiritual ministry of praise and thanksgiving to God. “ through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name “ Hebrews 3:15. Christians must acknowledge his name. We must praise and worship God in words and actions. When we live in a way that truly brings honor to God, then our worship and praise becomes a sacrifice to him. When we are fully committed to God, our praises pleasing to God. We please God when we don’t conform to this world.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for letting us praise and worship you! Thank you for seeing us as your priest. God I pray that we will be bold and take action in our praise to you.
