Why you downcast, O My Soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my savior, and my God. Psalms 43:5
Life can be hard. It can be depressing. People can zap all your joy out of you. Life experiences can weigh heavy on you.
This can make a person’s soul feel down. We can get stuck there. However, we have to keep our hope in our Triune God. We have to trust in His plan for our life. He is not out to get us, to harm us, to hurt us. He is there to mold us, form us, to grow us into who he wants up to be. We have to fight through the fog of our trial and keep trusting him and putting our hope into him.
Even when it’s the hardest, we have to get up and praise him. Praise him through the fog. Praise him through the tears. Praise him through . . .
When we put our hope in him, he will be there guiding us. His word doesn’t lie.
Remember, as we go through trials, hardships, trauma, we can put our hope in God! We can trust in him with all things.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I love that you are always here for us. Thank you for that; we can praise you in the midst of sadness. Father God, I love you. I ask for those struggling that you be there with them, wrap your arms around them with your love.
