Today is Reflection Day! I really love reflection day. It’s a time for me to go back and reflect on what God has spoken to me about. It gives me time to pray and seek God about what he wants to speak to change in my life. It gives me time to make a game plan of putting action to what God is telling me and asking of me. Reflection Day gives me a slower pace to really grasp what God is telling me. It gives me more time to really listen for His voice.
What have you learned about the Holy Spirit? What was insightful and encouraging?
Why is it essential to accept responsibility for our responses rather than embracing the victim mentality, when you have been hurt by others?
What are some things that the Holy Spirit does in the life of a Christian?
How does the Holy Spirit help us to overcome our flesh?
Make the most of this time! Go get your journals, pens, and bible and spend time with God. Listen to him and obey him. When you get uncomfortable with the quiet, just stay there and give God time to do what he wants. Take time today and find verses that God spoke to you that you are thankful for. Then take time to thank God for His word. Think about the coming year and how you can reflection love this coming year. Take this time to learn how to be honest with Him and with yourself.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for all you do. Thank you for loving us so deeply and more than what we can really grasp. I pray that you will be done as it is in heaven. Speak to each of us today as we spend time seeking your will.
In Jesus Name
