Read Matthew 5:14-16 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father, who is in heaven.
Matthew 28:19-20 says, Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
What do these passages say? What do we learn about God and Jesus?
This is the last way you can invest in your time to grow as a follower of Jesus. This is the Go to all the world. This is the time you spend on missions locally and globally. Jesus’ life was a model for us on how he did missions. We can be involved with missions right where we are at. We can share God’s love right where we are at in our local community. We have opportunities in our local community to serve the people and to love them.
As for globally, you can financially support a missionary and pray for them daily. You can go on little mission trips and help out missionaries that are in the field. If you have any skills that can help missions either locally and globally, you can also serve in this way.
Jesus lives through us. His light is what shines through us. He loves is what helps us to love others. We in to pray about what is breaking God’s heart. With this, our hearts should also be breaking and want to do something to help change this. Ask God for His wisdom where He wants you involved in the mission. Next, you will want to reach out to your church leaders and find out where you can serve.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for asking us to come alongside you and share your love with everyone. I pray you will lead each us to where you want us to be locally and globally.
