Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1
God gives us spiritual blessings. Even though we are found guilty before God, we repent, he turns around and forgives us and gives us spiritual blessings. We have been justified!
Let’s review the meeting of justified. Just a fied means declared or made righteous in the sight of God. Righteousness means worthy, upright, good. When we repent God justifies – ( makes us good in the sight of God). We are worthy. This happens all through our faith, not works.
shalom means peace. This term mean more then the absence of war, conflict, and stress. Shalom’s basic meaning is the presence of harmony. For example unity, cooperation, good relations, wholeness, good purpose, well-being, and contentment in all areas of life. This can refer to the international relationship we have to the relationships we have inside and outside our homes. When God created the wold, he created a world at peace.
When Adam and Eve sinned that disobedience Introduced us to sin. Sin broke the flow of peace and harmony. They lost their inner peace! Their peace with God. Sin destroyed their perfect relationship with God! They hid themselves from God. They replaced their peace with God for a false, temporary pleasure of their own.
Sin took the harmony and unity between man and nature. Adam used to have pleasure in the work of the garden! He walked among the animals. Then sin enters the world. Work is not pleasurable. There is no peace among man and nature. God’s curse included anger and hate amongst all.
However, God has a plan to restore shalom. It is through our Lord Jesus Christ! This is the life and message of Jesus. Jesus came to make peace between man and God. Jesus provide forgiveness and freedom from sin. Jesus is the prince of peace.
Peace and harmony make things safe, secure, and prosperity. Christianity, the tranquil state of a soul assured of ones salvation through Jesus. Fearing nothing from God, we can be content with our life.

Dear Heavenly Father,
