    Jesus Chose You

    “You didn’t choose me.  I chose you.  John 15:16-17 Today, We are going to focus on choice.  Who chooses and why it matters.  In the above verse, Jesus said we didn’t choose Him. In the Jewish religious culture, a student would pick a rabbi.  In return, the Rabi then has to choose the student back or not to choose the student.  There is a whole process to go through—interviews, tests, and applying for such training.  Jesus, though turns this process upside down.  He chose His disciples, and then in return; they chose Him back by abiding in Him for the long haul.     For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you,  1 Thessalonians 1:4 God chose you! Say that to yourself looking in a mirror.  Do you believe it? We all at one point struggle to accept that God loves us.  He loves us unconditionally.  Keep telling yourself that.  God Loves Me. Jesus loves me until you believe it with your whole heart.     Chose You And Appointed You

    . You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the father in my name, he may give it to you.  John 15:16 God Chose you!  He chose you first!  He made the first choice to love and die for you.  God wants you to choose him.  He has an invitation for you to choose him.  Remember He doesn’t make you choose him.  It’s up to you.
