    When Hope Doesn’t Disappoint

Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand.  Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.  Colossians 3:1-2 Have you ever been disappointed by the course of events around you that you were looking forward too?  I have.  When I thought something would go one way and it ended up going another way.  Or even in the comparison game, see how things go for one family, yet that is not happening for me on how I desire it to go. The Secret Life

Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.  But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things.  And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?  Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? Do you tend to look at others’ sins over your own?  I do think we…
