    My Father the Gardener

    “I am the true grapevine, and My Father is the gardener.”  John 15:1-3 In the first verse of John 15, Jesus says that He is the true grapevine and that His Father is the gardener.  Jesus says this, so we know who is the gardener in our lives.  God the Father is the Gardener who cultivates our souls with a father’s tender heart.  We know that God is our creator.  He was the gardener since the beginning.  Read Genesis 1: 11-12.  Then skip to Genesis 1:29-30.  It says that God planted a garden in Eden.     Know The God Of The World

    “He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;  I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth.”  Psalm 46:10 What is this verse saying to you?  What can we learn about Jesus from this verse? There are two thoughts in this one verse.  Be still and know that I am God, and I will be exalted.  Do you know the first part of this verse?  I don’t know a woman who doesn’t know this verse when they are a Christ-follower.  Men, on the other hand, I don’t know if this is a verse that hits their hearts like it does with women.
