    Abundance of God’s Mercy

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,  Ephesians 2:4 God is rich in mercy means “in the multitude of mercy”.  He is abundance of mercy.  He is so rich in this area that God is willing to impart it to others.  Even to those who are dead in their sin.  God is ready to forgive us when we are ready to ask for it and to change our way of living.  He has so much that he blesses others.  He chooses to give us an abundance of his mercy each new day. God has a great love for us. It is above…

    Offer Mercy To Others

Be merciful, as your Father is merciful.  Luke 6:36   God is a merciful God.   He is a  compassionate God.  In Ephesians 5:1, it says, “Therefore, be imitators of God, as dearly loved children.” God show us  mercy every day, throughout the day.  Think about  everything you do, say and think!  Not perfect, Huh?  I know I am not perfect.  Some days, I am just not functioning well.  On these days  I have learned not to interact with people because sometimes my mouth doesn’t work with my Brian and I say the wrong thing not meaning too.   Boom!  I am not given mercy. I get wrath.  But let’s…

    The Lord’s Mercy

The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.  Psalm 103:8 God is slow to anger!! How wonderful is that?  He won’t be quick to chide us on our sins, but waits patiently for us to ask for forgiveness.  He waits for our repentance.  He wants us to be reconciled with him.  God is so, so good to us.  He has revealed his mercy and grace to the Israelites, His chosen people. Through them he has revealed this to all of us. We have all experienced God’s mercy.  Thank goodness it never ceases or come to an end. We can trust in God that when we…

    His Mercies Never End

Lamentations 3:22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; God’s mercy never end.  Look at our society.  There is so many things against God’s word.  God does have anger.  Read the whole Old Testament.  WE sin and sin.  Come back to God’s ways and then go back to our sin. God’s compassion does not fail.  God’s mercies never end.  He is really quite patient with us.  By his mercy we are not consumed.  God did not wipe out all the people.  He kept his promise in Jeremiah’s day.  Because of God’s mercy, we get to wake up every morning.  We are still…

God’s Love Has Been Poured Into Our Hearts

And hope does not put us to shame,  because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.   Romans 5:5   Hope!  We have hope in God and hope, doesn’t put us to shame.  God’s  hope is not wishful thinking. Man put’s their hope in many, many things that bring them shame.  That hope brings them no fulfillment. When man puts their hope in God, they will have no shame.   It’s a blessed change when we become a true believer. We are justified by faith, we have peace in God.  God’s love has poured into us, we have the…

Rooted and Grounded In God’s Love

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his spirit  in  your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith – that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.  Ephesians 3:14-19 I remember being a little girl and watching the adults kneeling in prayer.  Did you know this is…

    Love Much

Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many  are forgiven – for she loved much.  But he who is forgiven little, loves little.  Luke 7:47 One of the pharisees invited Jesus to eat at his house.  While Jesus reclined at the table, a woman found out that Jesus was there.  She brought her alabaster jar of fragrant oil and poured it over His feet.  She wiped his feet with her hair and her tears.  She anointed his feet with fragrant oil and kissed his feet. It is custom in Jewish culture to wash your guest feet when they enter your home.  The pharisee, Simon,  who invited Jesus to his house…

    In Love God’s Predestined

Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him, In love he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ according to the purpose of will, to the purpose of his will, to the praise fo his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the beloved.  Ephesians 1: 3-6 God predestined our adoption in love.  Focus on predestined for a moment!!  What does it mean to you? Predestined means…

    Your Value To God

Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies?  And not one of the is forgotten before God.  Why,  even the hairs of your head  are all numbered.  Fear not, you are of more value than many sparrows.  Luke 12:6-7 Look at how God cares for all creatures.  Here five sparrows  are sold for two pennies.  God didn’t forget them.   Their value  is cheap, yet he still cares – He remembers  each one of them. Have you ever tried to count every piece of your hair on your head?   I have when I was a little and heard the verse.  I got bored and stopped, but God he numbered…

God’s Plan Out of Love For Us

But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done s in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit.   Titus 3: 4-5 God’s love flows through Christ.  We are delivered out of our misery only by God’s grace and mercy. The Holy Spirit flows through God to teach, regenerate, and  save us sinners through God’s love, grace, and mercy; we have a changed life. Through this we will want to do works for God’s kingdom.  We are not saved by works, but by God’s love for us that…
