    Love And Respect

And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you.  Let them be a living and holy sacrifice – the kind he will find acceptable.  This is truly the way to worship him.  Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.  Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.  Romans 12:1-2 Read Romans 13: 1-10 Do you struggle with authority?  The struggle to be submissive to them, respect them and follow…

    Christ’s Death! God’s Love. Part 4

for while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person – though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die – but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-9   Christ died for sinners. We were helpless and useless.  Christ died to save us from our sins. Jesus died at the right time for all. God designed to deliver from sin into work a great change. While we are sinners in this sinful state, we are rebellious to God. We have…

    Forgiveness Of Sins

for this is my blood of the covenant which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Matthew 26:28 We have all sinned, therefore forgiveness is necessary.  Our sin is a rebellion against God.  He is offended by our sin. We have broken his law.  We have ignored His standards and gone our own way. Sin has destroyed man’s relationship with God.  God is completely pure, perfect, complete and separate from evil.  God is completely holy. Repeat Do Not hide your transgressions.  When we deny our sin,  we are rebelling against God.  When we don’t work with God on our sin, we are going our own way.  At this point we are not making any spiritual progress.  Therefore, we are not prospering. It is in our nature to hide or overlook our sins.  To not let others know our sins or our wrong doing.  We all make mistakes. Humans make excuses over their sins.…

    Mercy Seat Of God

Above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy-seat.  Of these things we cannot now speak in details.  Hebrews 9:5 The mercy-seat was used as the cover of the ark of the covenant in the Holy of Holies.  The mercy-seat was sprinkled with the blood on the annual day of atonement.  On the annual Day of Atonement both a bull and a goat were used.  The bulls blood was used for the High Priest and His family.  The goat’s blood was used for the whole nation.  This served as an offering for the sins as an offering to God.   The Mercy seat is where God would come and…
