    Why The Law

    Why then the law? It was added because o transgressions, until the offspring  come to whom the promise had been  made, and it was put in place through angels by an intermediary.  Galatians 3:19 The Hebrew word for law is Torah meaning to teach or direction.  The law is referring to the Ten Commandments, the Pentateuch, which is the first five books of the Old Testament, and any commandment of the Old Testament.  This verse is also referring to the sacrificial system that was part of God’s Old Testament covenant with Israel given to Moses.
