    Jesus and the disciples came to Capernaum.  And when he was in the house he asked them, “What were you discussing on the way?”  But they kept silent, for on the way they had argued with one another about who was the greatest.  Mark 9:33-34 Keeping silent is always the best way to handle the truth.  We might think or attempt to hide things from God, but in reality We can’t hide anything from God.  In Mark 9:33-34, this is what the disciples did.  They stayed silent.  Through their silence Jesus saw and heard their sinful, proud attitudes.  Jesus gave them an opportunity to walk in the light with him. …

    Integrity

    The integrity of the upright guides them but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them.  Proverbs 11:3 Do you have integrity?  Do you know what integrity means?  According to the dictionary, integrity means the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness; the state of being whole and undivided Integrity is doing and saying what is right.  It’s our obedience to God’s law.  It’s owning up to our mistakes and sins.  It’s having the courage to stand alone for what is right.  It’s doing the right thing when no one is around.  When we are being honest with ourselves and others we are being upright, righteous.  It’s…
