Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. 1 Corinthians 13:5
Today we are going to take a test. A test to self examine ourselves and reflect where we are with God. What is great about this test will not be for everyone to see other than God and you. It will be between you and God. No one else. Read the following scripture Romans 8:28, Hebrews 13:8, 2 Timothy 3:16, 1 John 1:1, Mark 9:21-23, Jeremiah 33:3, Acts 4:23-31, Psalm 2:1-2 to help answer the following questions or statements.
I believe all of Scripture is actually God’s word?
I believe there is only one true God, the God of the Bible?
I believe Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God?
I believe the four gospels reveal an absolutely accurate portrayal of Christ?
I believe the New Testament portrayal of Christ’s signs, wonders, and work is absolutely accurate?
I’m convinced of God’s love for me is ____________? (ex. always or rarely)
I believe that Jesus Christ of the Gospel is __________________. (ex. just as powerful and active or more distant and less likely to intervene – your thoughts to fill in the blank.)
I have seen firsthand evidence of a miracle of God?
How do I tend to feel about other’s testimonies of modern-day miracles?
I feel God always hears my prayers?
I constantly sense the activity of God in several others, people, I watch?
I believe that God is constantly active in my life?
I believe God speaks through His word, His Holy Spirit, humans, and circumstances to anyone willing to listen to Him.
I am thoroughly convinced that I am forgiven for my confessed sins?
I am thoroughly convinced that God has a specific, fruitful plan for every believer in Christ, including me?
I feel that God has actively, affirmatively responded to me in the past when I’ve exercised faith in Him?
I am very willing and ready to take my faith to a new level in Christ?
I always pray generic prayers because I don’t want to be disappointed by God?

When fear comes on me like a tidal wave, I tend most quickly to call a friend to pray for me or I go straight to prayer to God?

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you that you are willing to take us where we are at and help us to grow more in you.
