The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14
Christmas is right around the corner. Christmas makes me think of when Jesus came to earth as a baby. We celebrate his birth!! God, Christ Jesus, our eternal God, the Word became a human. He dwelled among us as the verse says, He walked among us. Jesus is God and humanity united together. Jesus experienced life here on earth. He experienced temptation and difficulties just as we do. He overcame them all. He did not fail or disobey God the Father when he was being tempted or going through difficulties. Since Jesus became on of us, he could pay for our sins. In His perfect life, His sinlessness, Jesus was able to pay the full requirement that God demanded. As we go through life and have to deal with temptation, know that you have a choice; You do not have to fall into that temptation. Jesus showed us how to do that he also went through life’s difficulties, Remember how he dealt with them? Dear Jesus,
I pray that as we go through this life that you will helps us. Guides us through your Word, so we may know you more and how to obey you. God I ask that you send each of us a Godly mentor that will help us along this walk with you. Lead us to a church that speaks your word and truth. Amen
