so the wall was finished on the twenty – fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty- two days. And when all our enemies heard of it, all the nations around us were afraid and fell greatly in their own esteem, for they preceived that this work had been accomplished with the help of our God. Nehemiah 6:15-16
Do the enemies ever go away? The wall around Jerusalem was built, and their enemies were still causing trouble. Nehemiah, their leader, depended completely on God for his gudiance, protection, and strength. The wall was finish because God was with his people. The wall was finished because God was with his people. The wall was finished because they had their faithful, couragious, dedicated, and determined leader. The wall was finished because they worked with all their might. When the wall was finished, their enemies heard this and feared the Israelites God.
When we have opposition, our faith can be shakey. During this time, we should fight with all that harder to keep our eyes on God. We need to stay in His word, pray, and trust God that he is in control and knows the purpose and goal. God is wanting to help us. When we stay faithful to God, when we continue to trust and obey Him, God will help us accomplish his purpose and will.

Do you depend on God to help you with the tasks that he asks you to do for him?
Dear Heavenly father,
Thank you for this time with you. I pray that as we do you will that we will have faith that you will help us. I pray that we will stay the course in obedience to you. I pray that we will be a person like Nehemiah that we will be faithful, have courage, be dedicate, and determined to do what you ask of us.
