You are the light of the world. A city situated on a hill cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and puts its under a basket, but rather on a lamp stand, and it gives light for all who are in the house. in the same way, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in Heaven. Matthew 5:14-16
These verses make me think of the kids song “This Little Light of Mine”.

When we accept Christ as Lord and Savior of our life and truly mean it. We will want to light of Jesus to shine where God has us planted. When we allow God to mold us and clean us, we shine out His glory; its given back to the Father. When we hide our light we are not giving glory to what he has done. We are showing God our rejection to him. As christians, let’s be BOLD and let our light shine in our community and in our home.
Ask God how bold your light should shine! Let the Holy Spirit guide you. Listen closely, and he will guide you. You might need to speak or it might just be to shower love on someone who needs it the most.

Jesus, I want to stand bold for you. Help me to know your will and to do your will. Shine in my life so others may see you in my life.
