When preaching the word, the message is focused on the gospel of God and Christ. The apostles preached in the power of the Holy Spirit. Preaching God’s word in the power of the Holy Spirit is where the Holy Spirit convicts us of our sins. The Holy Spirit would shows us how we need God in our lives. That we need God’s forgiveness and new life. When we accept the message of Christ, we are rescued and freed from the power of sin and Satan.
The apostles preached the message with full conviction. Their faith in Christ and through the work of the Holy Spirit in them, they were fully aware and confident of the truth, purity, and power of the message of Jesus.
The people who heard the message and responded in faith by obeying God’s word. What they learn through the messages, they put into practice in their daily life. They became the example of what a holy life is and being righteous.
When we speak the word of God, we need to take the apostles approach. They used the power of the Holy Spirit and with full conviction. They point to the message of Christ. In order for people to repent, we should preach as they did. Or at least share the message with others like they did.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for sending the Holy Spirit. Thank you Holy Spirit for guiding us on how to speak the message of Christ. I pray that we follow your guidance.
