
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” Matthew 7:7
Do you ever question why God uses the people that He uses? Sometimes it is just the fact that God is the unexplainable choice of servants. We may never know the whys to our questions. One thing for sure is that God has a lot of grace. Something that all of us believers could work on giving to others more often.
Read Matthew 6: 25-26, Matthew 7:7; John 14: 13-14. What are the promises found in these verses. Do you know of anyone who prayed to God for everything and seen how God has taken care of them. That is how faith and believing God is.
Read Psalm 81:10. Write this verse out in a personal way. What does this teach us? Then read Psalm 81:7-14. Which one of these verses speaks the most to you? Why? According to these verses, What is God willing to do when we bow to Him alone and have no other gods?
Some of us struggle with people or people in the church. Some have been spoken to that have hurt us spiritually. Even when it comes to finances and the church, what verses do you know that could help you with the topic of money and God?
Prayer is talking to God. It is listening to God. It is waiting on God. God will not fail us. He will answer us when we pray. All we have to do is trust him and his ways. We don’t have to understand everything, and we have to have a shilling of faith to get us through our prayers.
Let’s journal more about the fourth fifth of our lives. What pivotal events, traumas, or life markers happened in this time of your life? Are there any lies you believed during this time that God has exposed and replaced His truth to you?
Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray that we will continue to pray to you and build our faith even when we don’t understand the whole picture. I pray that our faith will grow in this moment.
