To Be Innocent

For your obedience is known to all, so that I rejoice over you, but I want you to be wise as to what is good and innocent as to what is evil Roman 16:19

And is it like a child whose mind knows no evil. To be like that again. Innocent means unmixed or pure. In practical terms, it means to be experts in doing good and I’m skilled at doing evil. Christians must make it a point to serve one another for the sake of Christ. Also to do what is right by God Standard. Christians need to Stop exposing themselves to evil behaviors or participating in ungodly activities. When we stay away from evil behaviors and activities, we are not giving Satan any opportunities to tempt us.

This biblical principle directly opposes the idea that Christians or particularly their children must be exposed to all the realities of life in order to learn how to deal with temptation and sin. By all means, this bad philosophy is in agreement with Satan’s desire to expose everyone to the knowledge of good and evil. There are some parents who expose their children to things that children should not be exposed to. Even though parents want to shelter kids from the evilness in our world, we should try to not expose them to unnecessary deceit and ungodliness. As spiritual guardians parents must teach their children to stay away and be serious about all evil. God is calling us to be innocent About evil, this means teaching our kids not to dabble in evil.

Good knowledge of evil and being exposed to Satan’s Waze will lead many to stray from godly faith and obedience. Scripture verses that keeping Beth company ruins good morals. Even with in the Christian community, Christians do evil, when come fronted and they don’t change, one needs to leave their company. Those who choose to expose themselves and their children to physically and spiritually evil environments are violating Jesus’ warnings. There are serious consequences for those choices.

What do you expose your children to?

Are you staying innocent or dabbling in evil?

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your warnings of evil. I pray that we will be alert and aware of our surroundings. I pray that we will protect our kids from evil. I pray we will teach the to stay away from evil and that innocence is nothing to be ashamed of!

In Jesus Name

Amen
