
The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what Hod has freely given us. 1 Corinthians 2:10-12
Have you ever pray for one thing and got another?
God has more for us then what we would even ask for or think of. In Ephesians 3:20-21, Paul said, “ Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever!“. We can’t even pray for what comes close to what God wants to give us. Only the Spirit of God knows what God is doing or purposing in our life. Let God give you all he wants to give!
Are you willing to take what God wants to give you? Or are you wanting what you are asking for?
When we are praying and working in one direction and realize he is working in another direction, we need to adjust our life to what God is doing. We have to decide whether we are going to do what you want and to ask God to bless it, or go to work where He is working. We pray and don’t relate anything that is happening around us to prayer. The best thing one can do is turn on our spiritual concentration. Don’t forget about what we prayed for. Take the time to watch your surroundings and see God at work! It just not be in a way we think it will be.
Has God ever been silent to you?
Job had this experience. Through all his hardships God was silent with Job. When we go through these moments, God will reveal eventually what is going on! He will use his word. What are some reasons for God’s silent? Sometimes God is silent when we have sin in our life. Another reason is he is preparing to bring you into a deeper understanding of himself. When God is silent, keep doing what God has told you to do. Watch and wait to see what God does next. You will have a fresh encounter with God.
When you pray, be aware of your surroundings and what is going on! Adjust to those things. Keep doing what God has asked us to do!
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for being a faithfulness. Thank you for your timing. I pray that we will be aware of what you are doing around us. I pray that we then will make adjustments to our lives.
