Worship God

O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth.  Psalm 8:1

Do you seek God’s presence?  Do you call out His name?

God’s name is majestic and worthy of our praise.  When we acknowledge God’s name, we recognize who He is.  When we call on His name it indicates that we are seeking His presence. Praising His name is praising Him.  God’s names in scripture can be a call to worship for you.  Do you struggle with worshipping and praising God?

There are some ways that we can worship God.  God’s names direct your attention to Him, who He is, and what He does.  Praise God for who He is.  Thank Him for what He has done.  Glorify, love, and adore Him.  Take the time to seek Him, Trust Him, and Sing to Him.  Take a moment and put this to action.  Worship God, make it a time to experience your love relationship with God.  When you are done take time to journal your experience.  Here are some scripture verses to use during this time.  Psalm 96:2, Psalm 80:18, Psalm 22:22, Psalm 86:11, these are just a few to start with.  Some ways to worship His name by blessing him, call upon him, declare His name, fear his name, give thanks to his name, glorify his name, hope in his name, know his name, love his name, and trust in His name are a few ways.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for this time with you.  I pray that each of us will take this time to spend in worship with you.  I am so thankful that you invite us to come and experience you to get to know who you are.  I pray that it is our heart’s desire to do just that.   I pray that we will take this very moment and worship you and put to action what we just learned.

In Jesus Name

Amen
