Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ; so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together, for the faith of the gospel,
Philippians 1:27
When we accept Christ as our savior, we become citizens of the Kingdom of God. We need to be good patriotic citizens of the Kingdom of God. As Paul was stating that they, the Philippians, were accountable to him; we, too, are needing to be accountable to one another.
We need to be unified together in One Spirit for the Kingdom of God. We should restrain from fighting with each other. When we are unified, we are productive for God’s purpose. We can increase trust and belief in the good news of Jesus, when we are in unity. When we start acting different the world that is when unbeliever’s will see Christ.
Dear God
I pray that we will conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. I pray that we will hold one another accountable to your word. I pray that we will be unified for your glory.
